Some More About Me

I’m an emerging multimedia journalist and am based in Toronto. Currently, I am an intern at CBC with their Books unit. There, I write digital news stories, produce radio segments and help manage their social media accounts.

Previously, I interned and freelanced at The Globe and Mail with their daily news podcast, The Decibel. I also hold a Master's of Media in Journalism and Communication (MMJC) at Western University.

In the past, I have worked as a freelancer for Xtra Magazine, a Social Media Coordinator for MMJC, as a college contributor for HerCampus' national site and McMaster Chapter. I have also volunteered as a Content Manager for the Faculty of Humanities at McMaster University.  McMaster Humanitie

Inside and outside of my journalistic work, I am passionate about the role of community building and connectivity through storytelling.  I am eager to report on a variety of stories and in a variety of media.

Outside of my work, I am an avid literary fiction reader and a lover of music and concerts. As my work and academics become increasingly digital, I am drawn to physical art mediums and love making zines and crocheting. You can often find me rock climbing, eating pickles and onion rings or hanging out with my dog.
